Overview

ipConfigure’s Video Surveillance Appliances (VSA) are designed to meet the needs of customers who desire a turn-key solution for IP video and analog CCTV that is cost-effective, easy to deploy and reliable.
Each VSA comes preloaded with ipConfigure’s Enterprise Surveillance
Manager software as well as Windows Server 2008 OS and SQL Server Express 2008.
Maximum performance is obtained by using Intel multi-core processors, 8 GB of RAM, gigabit network interface cards, and industrial grade power supplies. The Intel based chipset provides the VSA
with ample resources required to record at high resolutions and frame rates. An advanced system management dashboard provides real-time reporting of the system’s health.
These dependable appliances are shipped with high-speed hard-drives offered in variety of configurations which
include RAID-0 for write performance, RAID-1 & 5 for redundancy. All drives are built to run cool and quiet with enhanced vibration protection to ensure reliability and sustained data throughput. The VSAs are available in four form factors: 1U, Hybrid, Edge and Mobile variations.

Pre-installed with ESM and support for up to (64) VGA resolution H.264 IP cameras the VSA 1U provides maximum performance while requiring minimal space.  A thin 1.75 inches high profile reduces the datacenter footprint while offering up to 6TB of storage in a RAID-5 redundancy configuration.

Hybrid

Based on a mid-tower chassis the Hybrid shares the same internals as the 1U with the exception of (2) additional drive bays.  The Hybrid is pre-installed with ESM and offers support for up to (64) VGA resolution H.264 IP cameras.
