ipConfigure’s Video Surveillance Appliances (VSA) are designed to meet the needs of customers who desire a turn-key solution for IP video and analog CCTV that is cost-effective, easy to deploy and reliable.

Each VSA comes preloaded with either ipConfigure’s Enterprise Surveillance Manager or Surveillance Manager Basic software as well as Windows Server 2008 OS and SQL Server 2008.

Maximum performance is obtained by using Intel multi-core processors, 4 GB of RAM, dual gigabit network interface cards, and industrial grade power supplies. The Intel chipset provides the VSA with ample resources required to record at high resolutions and frame rates. An advanced system management

dashboard provides real-time reporting of the system’s health to administrators.

These dependable appliances are shipped with two high-speed, hot-swappable 1TB or 2TB drives which can be preconfigured for maximum storage (RAID-0) or redundancy (RAID-1). All drives are built to run cool and quiet with enhanced vibration protection to ensure reliability and sustained data throughput.

The VSAs are available in two form factors: 1U or Hybrid. The 1U VSA is compact, rugged and designed for pure IP video installations while the Hybrid VSA comes in a wall mountable chassis and will support up to six expansion slots. Users can choose to populate the Hybrid with ipConfigure’s 4-port Power Over Ethernet (PoE) cards and/or H.264 video encoder cards.

ipConfigure’s 1U Video Surveillance Appliance is designed for pure IP video installations. The time and complexity involved in installing and configuring is greatly reduced when the video management software, operating system and database is preloaded. The VSA 1U takes up minimal rack space and is built to last.
