Surveillance Manager Basic

Overview

Surveillance Manager Basic (SMB) with support of up to 64 cameras and a single server. The SMB product is based off of the same highly reliable ESM engine, but offered at an entry level price. SMB was designed to operate with commercial off-the-shelf IP cameras, servers, switches and storage. Users and administrators can access the system from any network computer because of the HTML interface. The log-in is SSL encrypted making it extremely secure.
SMB can support 64 cameras for a single location while supporting an unlimited amount of users. SMB offers hardware independence and centralized management. The need to install or license client software to access live or recorded video is removed based on the HTML application.

Live View and Matrix
There is no need to load client software, which often requires administrator rights, to access live video. SMB offers a very

secure and simple way to access live cameras through a web browser. The user friendly map based navigation provides multi-tiered location of live camera viewing. The map section now supports Google maps or JPG based images.
Up to 30 cameras can be seen at a time on the matrix view. These live views can come for any combination of locations. The matrix view can support all 64 cameras because of the multi-monitor support offered by SMB.
Users can create and share their unique custom camera layouts which allows other system users to access cameras simultaneously on the matrix view.

Recording Engine
SMB, like ESM, offers the most advanced IP video surveillance recording in the industry which includes a low bandwidth motion detection engine and low per-camera CPU resource consumption .ipConfigure can double the number of cameras it can get on a Dual Quad box compared to its competitors

because of its powerful motion detection design. Rather than looking at every single pixel on the screen, the SMB software creates a trip wire effect that can be specifically designed for each individual customer. Which in return, saves the customer: bandwidth and storage space.
SMB's recording engine runs as a service and supports recording of all 64 MJPEG IP cameras at 640x480 resolution at 5 frames per second (fps).

System Administration
Cameras, locations and users are all managed under a single interface. This removes the need to access servers individually to make changes. System administrators can login using local SMB accounts.
SMB Admin Interface is easy to use. Camera defaults make camera setup simple. Map setup can now be done with Google Maps, making finding images much easier. Administrators are also given the rights to set up motion detection trip wire lines.
