ESM Interface
![]()
ESM uses an HTML user interface which is supported by Internet Explorer. The interface remains unified across the surveillance system. This system supports viewing of live and recorded video to unlimited simultaneous users from any computer(s) on the network, thus removing the need for client software or local access to servers.
Map Navigation of Cameras
Cameras, devices, servers and building locations are easy to navigate using the intuitive graphical interface. These drill points include national, regional, and local perspectives. These include integration with Google maps for dynamic navigation. Easy to view icons are used for opening thumbnail or full resolution live streaming images.
Archive Search
ESM offers an advanced Archive Search. Video event searching is made easy through the Search Histogram which allows users to identify motion detected events (red dots) for each minute of every hour. Advanced searches are made possible through multi-camera searches and synchronized playback. Protection from video purging is accomplished by exporting events to the Archive Library.
Thumbnail Search
Rather than the common ‘needle in a haystack’
approach, ESM’s intuitive thumbnail search provides
a snapshot of recorded events which are displayed by hours and minutes allowing users to find relevant video quickly and easily.
Matrix View & Multi-monitor Support
The Matrix view allows users to view up to 30 cameras per monitor with support of up to 240 cameras in a multi-monitor configuration. Users have the option to customize and save screen layouts for simple selection of cameras of interest.
Alarm Monitoring
The alarm monitoring interface provides real-time text viewing of events such as motion detection, camera connectivity, recording server status, and other related system wide events. Email notifications can be set-up by administrators to alert surveillance personnel when alarms are activated.
Administrative Interface
The administrative interface is an HTML interface that provides system-wide management of cameras, buildings, devices, schedules, and users, thus removing the need to have local access to the server(s) in order to administrate the system.
